Simple no-bake peanut butter oat bars
Let’s face it, we all live busy lives.
& sometimes when we get busy we forget to eat… which is why meal prepping/planning meals out in advance is CRUCIAL!
That being said—check out this YUMMY no-bake peanut butter oat bar recipe.
The best part about it? This recipe is SO QUICK & EASY & CONVENIENT for when on-the-go!
Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup honey
3 cups of oats
1 tablespoon of flaxseed
2 tablespoons of chia seed
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Directions:
Melt peanut butter and honey together (can either be done on stovetop or microwave).
Stir in remaining ingredients and mix until evenly combined.
Push mixture into a parchment-lined 8x8 baking pan.
Refrigerate for 30-60 minutes before cutting into 6 bars.
Wrap bars individually, refrigerate, & enjoy when on-the-go!!!
Each individual bar provides approximately 550 calories, 9 grams of fiber, and 15 grams of protein…making this a well-balanced & highly nutritious alternative to your traditional breakfast!
